• Press the [Feature Key] , several times until the word ‘Public’ is highlighted, then press the right [Soft Key] below

‘Select’. The call is now public, and the caller can be placed on hold by pressing the [Call Key]

, then press the

appropriate Line button on the base until to continue with the call.

• To make the call ‘Private’ again, press the [Private] button on the base unit.

• Note: If a call is made public, both the base unit and the cordless handset can be talking to the party at the same time. No

need to press hold unless only 1 party should be talking.

• If the call is public, and both the base unit and the cordless are on the same call, both the base unit and the cordless must be

hung up to completely end the call.

Intercom Between Base Unit and Cordless

• To call the base unit from the cordless phone, press the [Menu Key] until you see 1-Intercom.

• Press the right [Soft Key] under ‘Select’

• Press the right [Soft Key] under ‘Call’ to call the base unit.

• If you have more than 1 cordless phone attached to a base unit, you can scroll up and down and select the cordless phone you

wish to call, the press the ‘Call’ [Soft Key]

• To call a cordless unit from the base unit, press the custom programmed [ Icom ] button on the 57iCT.

• Select the appropriate cordless unit, and press the [Call] button

Call Lists

The phone stores the last 9 incoming and placed phone calls phones numbers.

Placed Call List

• To access the placed call list, press the [Redial] button.

• Use the [Feature/Up Key]

and [Menu/Down Key] to scroll through the list.

• Press the [Call Key]

to dial the desired number.

Received/Missed Call List

• To access the missed/received call list, press right [Soft Key] under the icon that looks like a telephone.

• Use the [Feature/Up Key]

and [Menu/Down Key] to scroll through the list.

• Press the [Call Key]

to dial the desired number.

Ring Tones

The cordless handset comes with 4 different ring tones. To change the ring tone for all calls, press the [Menu Key] until you see

3-Ring tone, then press the right [Soft Key] under ‘Change’ Scroll up and down to select desired ring tone.
