12.1.8.1 Changing Passwords From the Mailbox

To change passwords from the mailbox, when your extension is idle do

the following:

1. Open the mailbox.

2. Press 5 to change the password.

Follow the recorded instructions.

3. Press to finish the procedure.

Note: If you forget your password, you can ask a facility attendant or the

system administrator to re-initialize it. The password will then be

reset to 1234 until you change it once again.

12.1.8.2 Changing Passwords From the Phone

To change passwords from the phone, when your extension is idle do

the following:

1. Dial #*72*.

2. Enter your current user password. (The default password is 0000.)

3. Press *.

4. Enter your new user password.

5. Press #.

Wait for the verification tone.

6. Press to finish the procedure.
